What is my job?

Today I was thinking about my Christianity, and this question dawned on me what is my job as a Christian?

So often we become complacent in our Christianity we take our church and even God for granted. We forget that we have a job or a role to play as well. The Bible shows many examples of what we as Christians are supposed to do.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Often times we find that we’re not fufilling those duties. We feel that as long as we pray, read our bible, and go to church we have performed our job as Christians, but I am here to remind you that is not the case.

We should be proud to be Children of God, we should be celebrating and sharing Gods word with others so that they may be blessed by the word. We also should be excited to bring others to church, and rejoice in their salvation knowing that Gods kingdom is ever growing due to his loving word.

So going forth I challenge you to be a shining star of Christianity, share Gods word, and bring some one new to church this Sunday. Be blessed Amen.
